Peace baton passed over to Forge graduates

FORGE works with asylum seekers, refugees and South African nationals to promote peace and social cohesion in the county.

FORGE, a non-profit organisation, under Zoe-Life, honoured its newest peace ambassadors at a graduation ceremony held on Wednesday, December 8, at the Blue Roof Life Space.

The 17 ambassadors were presented with certificates for successfully completing their tier-one social cohesion training.

The training entails learning conflict resolution and working with community leaders and residents in urban, township and rural areas in Durban to bring locals and refugees together through workshops and dialogues.
