Quins cricketers dominate at home game

The man of the match was Jeran Pillai who top scored with 67 runs.

HARLEQUINS’ first team played Railways last Sunday at home.

The local team batted first and scored 188 for the loss of 9 wickets, Jeran Pillai top scored with 67 runs. Railways were dismissed for 83 runs after 21.5 overs. Kevin Kettle did most of the damage by taking three wickets for nine runs in five overs.

Devlin Dolan, a left-arm swing bowler, captured six wickets for 10 runs in a four over-allocation in the grand final of KZNCU’s 20 over match held at Kingsmead. It was an exhilarating spell of medium-fast bowling wherein four of his six wickets were clean bowled.
