Wentworth prayer walk to address social ills

The event will be held to promote peace, love and unity in the area and a plea to end violence.

A PRAYER walk will be held in Wentworth tomorrow from 07:30 starting at Panax Place.

The Saturday, November 27 event is to bring attention to the ongoing murders occurring almost weekly in the area. It is to also pray for peace, love and unity in the community and a plea to end violence.

The gathering is held under the banner of Wentworth church leaders, community building credible ownership and the community policing forum. Residents are encouraged to part take in the walk.
