Two injured in Bluff Post Office armed robbery
Police are investigating a case of business robbery.
TWO people were injured in an attempted armed robbery at the Bluff Post Office today (Wednesday, November 24).
“Both patients were stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby Durban hospital,” said the spokesperson for ALS Paramedics Medical Services, Garrith Jamieson.
The provincial police spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala confirmed that a case of business robbery is being investigated by Brighton Beach SAPS.

“It is alleged that today at 09:00, four armed men entered the post office on Bluff Road. They could not get any cash and they took a cellphone and fled the scene in a getaway vehicle. No shots were fired. The matter is still under investigation,” said Gwala.
According to PT Alarms Tactical K9 unit, which also responded to the scene, the suspect’s vehicle is believed to have false registration plates.
