Montwood sub-forum to host CPF election

Residents of Montclair and Woodlands are invited to participate in the Tuesday, November 16 event at the Montclair Recreation Hall.

The Montwood sub-forum election will be conducted on Tuesday, November 16, at the Montclair Recreation Hall.

The process will start at 18:30 and elected candidates will serve a five-year term of office.

Positions open for nomination are chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary and deputy secretary, treasurer, PRO and three community members.

The sub-forum comprises religious leaders, security companies, businesses, non-governmental organisations, the youth and the community.

Nominations will take place from the floor of those present on the day. Residents are encouraged to participate in this process. Nominate members of the local community or yourself.

“Through your selfless volunteer efforts, we can build a strong active, vibrant and successful sub-forum to participate in the prevention of crime together with SAPS Montclair.”

“A sub-forum is the composition of the general public (residents, organisations and institutions), who are broadly representative of the community in the Montclair and Woodlands section of the community within SAPS Montclair station’s jurisdiction,” said secretary Chris Mhlongo.
