Burglars steal TV and other items from Bluff residence

The house break-in was in Malborough Park in broad daylight.

A PRIVATE security company urges residents on the Bluff to be vigilant and tighten their security.

This comes after a house break-in in Malborough Park, on Wednesday, August 25.

The Brighton Beach Saps and PT Alarms’ Tactical K9 Unit responded to the premises after a resident reported the intrusion on a Whastapp crime group. Her home had been broken into in broad daylight.

“On arrival, it was established that the suspects had gained entry via the front door which had been broken. They stole a 74-inch flat-screen smart TV, three tablet devices, a DVD player, and some clothing.”

“The family is going to compile an inventory list to determine what other items were stolen. Residents are urged to secure their homes before they depart and at night.”

“Neighbours are implored to be vigilant and keep an eye out for each other. Alert the police or your security service provider immediately should you notice any suspicious happenings, persons, or vehicles,” said the security company’s spokesperson, Trishen Govender.
