Man critical after stab attack

The suspect is believed to be an alleged yard hopper in Montclair.

POLICE are investigating a case of attempted murder following a stabbing of a man who was left in critical condition.

The suspect is believed to be an alleged yard hopper in Montclair on Saturday evening, July 31.

ALS Paramedics Medical Services said the man is believed to be in his late thirties was rushed to the hospital by his family members.

“Doctors worked to stabilise him at the hospital before his family members called paramedics to have him transferred to an upgraded facility for specialised treatment. He was moved from Wentworth Hospital to King Edward VIII Hospital,” said paramedic, Garrith Jamieson.

The spokesperson for the Montclair Police, Captain Derek Vijiam confirmed that an attempted murder case is being investigated by Sergeant Mondli Mtolo.
