THE for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (Crow) needs your help.
“With most of our staff still in self isolation our clinic nurses have been struggling to get enough foliage for our antelope,” shared Crow operations director, Clint Halkett-Siddall. The Yellowwood Park based centre appeals for donations of mulberry, hibiscus or other edible tree branches.
“Please drop them off at our gate. We would appreciate anything we can get,” added Clint.
Crow has been rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing injured, orphaned or displaced animals for over 40 years. The centre admits over 3000 animals every year whose injuries and problems are mostly caused by human cruelty or urbanisation. Providing care for these animals is a specialised, dedicated and costly service and as a non-profit and non-governmental organisation, they heavily rely on the generosity of the public to continue their mission to assist wildlife.
