BCA strives to make a difference

The school aims to collect an impressive 50kg of bottle tops and bread tags by end of the year.

IF THERE is a need, one thing is for sure, Bluff Christian Academy will mobilise to assist.

This is proven in their latest drive towards lending a helping hand to someone in need of a wheelchair.

With the assistance of learners, the school currently runs a plastic bottle top collection and every bit collected draws them closer to realising this dream.

Grade 6 learner, Tyrese Ross, with the help of his family, recently made an incredible collection of over a thousand tops.

“He made an amazing contribution to our bottle top collection. He brought in 1 000 bottle tops and bread tags. This is an ongoing community project, our aim is to be able to get enough tops to buy someone in need a wheelchair. So don’t throw away your plastic tops from cool drink bottles, milk bottles, mayonnaise bottles etc,” said the school’s marketer, Michelle Ann Killian.

The school aims to collect an impressive 50kg by end of the year. No amount is too small and every bit makes a difference.

If you would like to assist, you can make a drop off at the school on 100 Hollesley Road, Bluff between 7am and 7.30am.
