Yellowwood Park’s pre-season tournament in full swing

This was round three of the pre-season's tournament.

YELLOWWOOD Park FC’s pre-season tournament continued unhinged during the Easter weekend.

Teams in the Group A division were the Montclair/Rambers, Escombe, Fynnland, BoB and Jaguars football clubs including the Yellowwood Park FC Eagles.

Group B consisted of Woodhurst, Escombe, BoB, Fynnland and Sisonke football clubs as well as the Yellowwood Park FC All-Stars and Falcons.

Round three fixtures for the weekend kicked off on Saturday, 3 April at 1.30pm with Sisonke FC against the local Fynnland Vision Academy (B). The second session saw the Yellowwood Park FC Falcons up against the Woodhurst FC (B) at 3pm. The last game of the day kicked off at 4:45pm as the Yellowwood Park FC Eagles played against Fynnland Vision Academy (A).

Sunday, 4 April matches began with an action-packed game by the Jaguars FC up against Montclair/Rambers FC (A) at 1:30pm. Followed by BoB FC taking on Escombe FC (B) at 3pm with Group A of the respective teams ending the day’s festivities with a match at 4.45pm. As per Covid-19 protocol, clubs were responsible for screening their own players and spectators.

Masks were also worn by teams, coaches and spectators while on the field with the exception of players during a game or while warming up.

Saturday, 10 April

Ywp FC All Stars vs Fynnland Vision Academy (B) – 1.30pm

BoB FC vs Woodhurst FC (B) – 3pm

BoB FC vs Fynnland Vision Academy (A) – 4.45pm

Sunday, 11 April

Sisonke FC vs Escombe FC (B) -1.30pm

Montclair/Rambers FC vs Escombe FC (A) – 3pm

Ywp FC Eagles vs Jaguars FC (A) – 4.45pm
