SPCA delighted by generous donation

As a non-profit organisation, KZNWIB donate all their profits to a charity that is nominated by their members each year.

DURBAN and Coast SPCA was recently presented with a cheque of R35 000 from KZN Women in Business (KZNWIB).

As a non-profit organisation, KZNWIB donate all their profits to a charity that is nominated by their members each year. “Despite a very challenging year, we are thrilled to have been able to support the Durban an Coast SPCA and the wonderful work they do,” said Senta Duffield KZNWIB chairperson.

Since inception in 1995, KZNWIB has grown and developed, has acted as a support structure for many women in a variety of business sectors, fostered a number of entrepreneurs and has been a successful networking forum for all its members, from the small business owner to the corporate CEO.

“We receive no state funding and are reliant on the support of the community we serve. We are extremely grateful to every single member and guest of KZNWIB for their support both financially and emotionally. Thanks to the generosity of organisations like KZNWIB we are able to continue our passion for rescuing abused and neglected domestic, farm and wild animals, promoting responsible pet ownership, providing a shelter for strays and a veterinary service for pets of underprivileged people,” said Tanya Fleischer, Durban and Coast SPCA Marketing Manager.
