Austerville library temporarily closed
In an interest to ensure the safety of employees, eThekwini Municipality informs the public about the closure of eight libraries and the museum.
AUSTERVILLE Municipal Library is one of nine facilities to temporarily close its doors.
“In an interest to ensure the safety of employees, eThekwini Municipality informs the public about the closure of eight libraries and the museum due to circumstances that are beyond the city’s control,” said municipal spokesperson, Msawakhe Mayisela.
The facilities that are closed are Craigieburn, Umkomaas, Umnini, Umbumbulu, Amanzimtoti, Austerville, Botanic Gardens Department Library, Inanda as well as the KwaMuhle Museum.
“We will communicate in the due cause of the re-opening of these facilities. EThekwini Municipality sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and appeals to the public to bear with us on this matter.”
