Good weather favour Quins’ friendlies

Two matches were played at the weekend.

QUINS held two T20 matches at Lt King Park, Smith Drive, Fynnland on Sunday, 8 November.

The fourth team beat the first side in the morning and the second eleven defeated the fifth team in the afternoon match.

The games were favoured by the sunny weather. The Total Community United (TCU) captain Clint Abrahams won the toss and elected to bat with the odds in his favour.

TCU batsman number 3 and 4 top scored with both getting 31 each. Mike Hastings best bowling figures were 2 wickets for just 11 runs in 3 overs Quins 1st team vs TCU.

This was a successful day for Quins cricket and a prelude for the upcoming delayed league season which will commence in January 2021.

This coming Saturday, 14 November at Lt King Park, Quins 6 vs Quins 2 at 1.30pm. On Sunday, 9.30am Quins 1 vs Quins 3, then at 1.30pm Quins 4 will play Quins 4. No spectators are permitted in the park.
