Wentworth woman found with drugs

The woman was arrested at Brooklyn Road in the Jacobs area on Friday, 16 October at 11:30am.

A TWENTY-SEVEN year old woman was arrested by an officer from SAPS Public Order Policing (POP) Unit after he had received intelligence information.

The woman was arrested at Brooklyn Road in the Jacobs area on Friday, 16 October at 11:30am. “Police found plastic containing 52 orange and white coloured capsules, suspected to be heroin, were found in a clear plastic packet kept in a red canvas bag. The accused was arrested and charged for possession of heroin,” said Wentworth police communcations officer, Captain Mbuso Gumede.

The suspect appeared in Wentworth Court on Monday 19 October.
