Wentworth man nabbed with drugs and cash
The accused was arrested and charged for drug possession.
A 30-year-old Wentworth man was arrested by the National Public Order Policing Unit after he was found in possession of capsules, believed to be heroine, on Tuesday, 6 October.
“While on patrol at about 12.45pm, police members conducted a search on a person standing along the road. The suspect was searched after giving consent. A clear plastic packet containing white and orange capsules, suspected to be heroine, was found in his possession. Cash to the total of R770 was also found,” said Wentworth police communications officer, Captain Mbuso Gumede.
The accused was arrested and charged for drug possession. He appeared in the Wentworth Court on 7 October.
