Learners embrace cultural diversities

The littlies showed up at school dressed in their cultural best.

CHILDREN at The Learning Centre (TLC) in Punjab Circle, Merebank celebrated Heritage Day on Friday, 18 September.

The littlies showed up at school dressed in their cultural best and the ones at home also sent through their photos all dressed up in support of the national day observed annually on 24 September.

“We remember the cultural heritage that makes up the population of our great nation, South Africa. We at TLC encourage every South African to embrace their culture and diversity of their beliefs and traditions in the wider context of a nation that belongs to all its people.”

“Our children enjoyed the day of fun, from singing our national anthem to hearing stories of our yesteryears told by our experienced teachers,” said principal Purusha Naidoo.
