Community group opens its doors for grief counselling

The pain of loss can feel overwhelming, but there are healthy ways to cope with your grief and learn to heal.

LIVING in a pandemic can bring forth a whirlwind of challenges but the reality of losing a loved one as a result of it is incomparable.

The pain of loss can feel overwhelming, but there are healthy ways to cope with your grief and learn to heal. The Believe Accept Faith Desire Trust (BAFDT) Community Support Group is here to help.

“Losing a loved one is never easy. We often to go through on our own and deny ourselves he chance to go through the various grieving steps in order to heal. Some find themselves slipping into a deep depression. Let’s not allow this to happen. Let’s extend our hand and help those in need. One on one sessions are now available. Confidentiality is our motto,” said Audrey Anderson, founder of BAFDT Community Support Group.

The organisation specialises in offering counselling services to the communities of Wentworth and Bluff. Should you or know of any family that may need grief counselling contact Audrey on 081 431 7458 or send her a Whatsapp text on 081-840-9022.
