Serving hot meals to those in need

The group, which works from as early as 6am to 10pm at night, seven days a week, has served over 28 000 meals.

AFRICAN Renaissance Cohesion (ARC) feeding scheme together with the Community Support Group NPO have been part of a collective, serving hot meals to the communities of Bluff and Wentworth.

The group, which works from as early as 6am to 10pm at night, seven days a week, has served over 28 000 meals. “We love every minute of it as we see the joy in our people’s faces,” said Andre de Bruin from Community Support Group.

The team wishes to place on record its sincere thanks and appreciation to sponsors and donors, both private and business who keep ARC feeding scheme out there every day, rain or shine, meeting the communities in their hours of need. “To our volunteers your love and dedication cannot go without mention and salute. To leave the comfort of your homes and families and be of service to others takes a special kind of dedication and love and you have shown that your status in life does not determine your ability to do for others. God has chosen you for a time such as this. Sponsorships and donors are welcome and every bit helps. Thank you to all who continue to faithfully give to make sure all out there never go to bed hungry,” said Clint Leverton of ARC feeding scheme.

To make a donation to the worthy initiative contact Andre de Bruin on 084-756-6192 or Clint Leverton on 084-077-0388.
