Organisations unite for the greater good

Fats Muller from the Keith Joseph Foundation said that their role is to heed the call at this critical time "to serve our people".

THE call to help those in need has inspired three organisations to unite with one common goal during the lockdown as some struggle to make ends meet in these uncertain times.

Wentworth Angels, the Keith Joseph Foundation, and Paul Pillay from Food for Life have united to assist residents with hearty meals and ensure the hunger gap is filled.

“We work hand in hand and assist each other’s kitchens so we don’t run dry on food supplies. We have been working back to back and it’s been awesome working with transparent members of our community. We rely on sponsors to assist our feeding schemes and we would appreciate all the assistance we receive,” said Tracey Williams of Wentworth Angels.

Fats Muller from the Keith Joseph Foundation said that their role is to heed the call at this critical time “to serve our people”.

“The pandemic has brought unity. We urgently request masks as people, in a lot of the areas we feed, can’t afford masks or santisers. We ask businesses or individuals to come on board to help us make sure nobody goes to bed hungry,” he said.

“I thank Lenny Joseph, Fats Muller and Paul Pillay for coming on board with us. We also have Kerr House on board and assist them when and where we can. Please feel free to contact us if you would like to assist. We thank all sponsors who have assisted thus far, we appreciate you and we pray blessings over each one of you,” Tracey added.
