The store has been fogged and deep cleaned and every procedure set out by the Department of Health has been followed to ensure that it is safe to shop at Oxford.
Strict hygiene and sanitation measures are in place to keep you safe.
Face masks are now essential for everyone entering the store.
Temperatures will be checked at the entrance, anyone with a temperature of over 37,5 degrees will not be allowed to enter the store.
They now also have a card system to ensure that the number of customers in the store, are strictly limited to the amount specified by the Department of Health.
Upon entry customers hands are being sprayed with hand sanitizer and a sanitizer station is also available at the entrance. Disinfectant trolley wipes are available on entry.
Each department is regularly sanitizing equipment used within that department.
Our trolleys are sanitized regularly throughout the day.
Cashiers are sanitizing their till points before every transaction. Please allow them to sanitize the counter before you unpack your goods.
Upon exiting the store (should you wish) your hands will be sanitized again.
Oxford has also implemented some physical changes in-store to improve their customers shopping experience. They have upgraded their point of sale systems to speed up transactions at the till; reworked the layout of their fruit and veg department to allow for better customer flow and also await the delivery of their new, bigger till counters at the Bluff.
All these improvements will assist in a speedier and more pleasant shopping experience for their customers.
