Bluff woman stabbed, robbed after car breaks down

It is alleged the woman pulled over on Tara Road, near the Pigeon Club, after she had experienced issues with her car.

A BLUFF woman is fighting for her life in ICU after being robbed and stabbed when her car broke down on Tara Road on Monday, 24 February.

It is alleged the woman pulled over on Tara Road, near the Pigeon Club, when she experienced issues with her car. She was then approached by two men who stabbed her multiple times and made off with her belongings.

According to KwaZulu-Natal police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele it is alleged the victim was stabbed by two suspects on Tara Road, Bluff on Monday just before midnight. “She sustained stab wounds to the body. Her handbag and cellphone were taken.”

A case of assault to do bodily grievous harm and robbery is being investigated by Brighton Beach police.
