The proud politician and mother of four advised the youngsters to make the most of their schooling years.

MOTIVATION is an essential element for inspiring greatness in today’s youth. And former acting mayor of eThekwini Municipality, councillor Fawzia Peer did just that when she visited the learners of Dikie Uys Primary School for a motivational talk on Monday, 27 January.

Dirkie Uys Grade 1 learners enjoyed the motivational morning. Pictured is Cebo Mfeka, former acting mayor of eThekwini Municipality Fawzia Peer and Madison Van Wyk.

Peer was invited to the school, which is currently going through a transitional development, to help encourage the youth to focus on their studies and make the most of their talents and potential. The proud politician and mother of four advised the youngsters to make the most of their schooling years. “Focus in the classroom while also exploring your creative side, because every single one of you have something special to offer in this world. Change is unattainable until one comes to a point of realisation of the undeveloped potential and opportunities that lies within you,” said Peer in a heartfelt speech that left the school inspired.
