Tickets for ward 66 senior’s luncheon now available

Six hundred seniors will be afforded a morning of eats, treats and entertainment.

THE annual ward 66 senior’s luncheon is once again upon us and as always the fun, laughter, good food and a great time will be the order of the day.

And when the festivities end, each person will go home with a food parcel. The ward committee has gone all out this year to make sure that everyone has a day they won’t forget.

If you are a senior citizen, are 60 years old or above and live in the following suburbs, you qualify:
1. Treasure Beach
2. Brighton Beach
3. Wentworth
4. Grosvenor
5. Fynnlands
6. Ocean View
7. Van Riebeeck Park
8. Cave Rock

There are only two days allocated for ticket collection starting from Thursday, 5 and Friday, 6 December, from 10am to 2pm at Grosvenor library on Tara Road, Bluff. The luncheon will be on Friday, 13 December, and the location will be revealed at ticket collection.

Take into account that:
• Tickets will only be distributed on the identified ticket collection dates on a first come, first serve basis.
• Tickets will only be issued to ward residents who are 60 years or older.
• Bring along your ID document (green bar-coded ID, Smart ID, Passport or temporary ID) and proof of residence.
• No tickets will be reserved for any resident even if you supplied your name to the councillor’s office.
