Stage 2 load shedding begins

Load shedding is set to be implemented from 9am to 11pm today.

Eskom has announced that stage two load shedding is expected to commence today, Wednesday 16 October, due to a shortage of capacity.  Despite reports on social media stating that there is load shedding in the Bluff, Ward 66 Councillor JP Prinsloo debunked the rumors and said there is no load shedding currently being experienced in the area.

According to Eskom, load shedding is set to be implemented from 9am to 11pm today.
