A VEHICLE pile-up resulting in a serious collision along M4 freeway near Jacobs claimed a life on Sunday, 6 October.
On arrival at the scene, police found that five vehicles were involved and one female was declared dead on the scene. “Ambulance services and emergency rescue services were on scene assisting to free the passengers who were inside the vehicles. The other passengers were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation by Wentworth Police to establish the cause of the collision,” said Wentworth police spokesperson, captain Mbuso Gumede.
