Nature enthusiasts treated to the sounds of spring

A guided nature walk takes place at Stainbank Nature Reserve on Saturday, 12 October.

The theme of this walk is ‘walk on the wild side’. Walkers will be in for a treat as it is spring and there are many different nature calls to be heard.

This walk starts at 7.30am at the main parking in Stainbank Nature Reserve, Yellowwood Park.

You will be directed to the start from the front entrance gate when you arrive. Photos of the walk and information of events will be posted on the Kenneth Stainbank Honorary Officer Group Facebook page.

The cost is R40 per walker which includes the entrance fee, children under 12 pay R20.

For further information, contact Shanil Balgobind on 072-476-5817.

This year the monthly walks will be alternated; a themed walk one month and two, to two-and-a-half hour hike the next month.
