Appeal to assist in the search for deceased’s relatives

It is unknown how he was murdered and the police are investigating an inquest case.

WENTWORTH Police are appealing to the community to assist in their search for the relatives of a deceased African male, aged 40.

“The male was found lying along the side of M4 freeway behind the railings and had sustained cut wound on his head and a nose bleed.  The deceased has a short hairstyle, moustache, and beard. He was wearing an orange Transnet reflective jacket, grey long pants, black, and blue Nike takkies.

“It is unknown how he was murdered and the police are investigating an inquest case, ” said Wentworth police spokesperson, Captain Mbuso Gumede. Anyone who may have witnessed a murder or any crime being committed which resulted in his death is to contact detective warrant officer Thompson on 031-451-6214 during working hours or the crime stop line 08600-10111.
