Yellowwood FC win friendly home game [PHOTOS]

Feeling the pressure, Juventus Panthers set their sights on their opponent's side of the field and managed a two-goal score.

A FRIENDLY home game between U9 Yellowwood Park FC and Juventus Panther FC from Durban North thawed an otherwise chilly Sunday morning, 28 July.

Kick-off began at 10am with the junior teams eagerly excited to represent their neighbourhoods and claim the win for the morning.

The first half was dominated by Yellowwood Park FC where, Rylan Lottering, a forward scored the first goal of the game.

The team continued their fierce attack with Joshua Matthews seizing a scoring opportunity from Rylan Lottering taking a corner.

Nsika Ndlovu added another goal just before half time. Feeling the pressure, Juventus Panthers set their sights on their opponent’s side of the field and managed a two-goal score. Yellowwood Park counter-attacked but no goals were scored.

“The game proved to be exciting with all the players enjoying themselves. Thanks to all the players and supporters,” said coach, Grant Matthews.
