Cheers and ululations  from staff and customers were heard across Yellowwood Park Superspar as Nkonzo rung his car’s hooter before making off. “I thank Yellowwood Park Superspar and God because I am a praying man. I am a regular customer at the supermarket, so regular that not a week goes by without me visiting the store. I was automatically entered into the competition through the Spar Rewards programme for just giving my cell phone number at the till for every purchase I made, which I strongly encourage others to do as well,” said Nkonzo who was still in disbelief of his luck.

Store owner, Brett Strydom said that they are blessed with an incredible local community who loyally support Yellowwood Park Superspar. “It was fantastic to witness the joy and appreciation shown by Mr Hlongwane when he came into the store to collect his amazing brand new Hyundai Grand i10. The Spar Win-a-Car promotion is always well supported by our customers at Yellowwood Park Superspar and to have now given away three vehicles in the past few years is just brilliant.
