Woodlands Bowling Club will host a fun day

Woodlands club will be having music on Saturday night, 29 June

ON Saturday, 22 June the men played their last league game at home against Umhlanga Bowling Club at Woodlands Bowling Club.

Unfortunately, both Woodlands teams lost. Arnie Harper, Jason Hewer and Gavin Conlon played the first round of the men’s Port Natal trips. They won two games and lost one.

On Saturday, 29 June the club holds a fun day. Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun at a cost of R10 per player which includes refreshments and eats. Players should wear flat shoes. Bowls will be supplied to those that don’t have. Register at 1pm to start play at 1.30pm.

The first prize went to Carole Lauderdale and the second and third prizes went to Mitford Holder. The snowball of R400 was won by Loraine Jenkins but due to her not being present at Woodlands club, the snowball of R500 will be carried forward to next week Friday, 28 June.

Woodlands club, situated at 65 Secker Road will also be having music on Saturday night, 29 June by DJ Mike from 6pm until late.
