Wentworth man shot dead in his home

It is alleged that the man was at his home when an unknown man fired shots towards him.

THE dark cloud of death continues to loom over Wentworth following yet another shooting of a local community member on Sunday morning, 23 June.

Brendon Davids, 45, was shot and killed by a suspect at his Major Calvert Street flat. According to KZN police spokesperson, Colonel Thembeka Mbele, a case of murder is being investigated by Wentworth SAPS. “It is alleged that the man was at his home when an unknown man fired shots towards him. He sustained gunshot wounds to the head, neck and was declared dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated,” she said.
