Wanderers seconds victorious over Toti bowlers

This Saturday, 1 June all three sides are away at Hillcrest, Wentworth and Bluff respectively.

Saturday, 25 May saw the continuation of the men’s inter club league, with Durban Wanderers hosting Umhlali.

Unfortunately, Umhlali left with the lion’s share of five points to two. There was, however, scenes of great joy as the team of Richard Hendicott, Eric Smit, Robbie Carr and Thomas Simpkins picked up an eight in their 35-18 win over Dave Riley’s team.

The second side travelled to Amanzimtoti and picked up a well-deserved 7-0 while the third side travelled to Hillary, but, unfortunately, lost 0-5. This Saturday, 1 June all three sides are away at Hillcrest, Wentworth and Bluff respectively.

Friday’s various meat pack winners were:

  • lamb pack – June James,
  • beef – Cameron Brown,
  • pork roast – Des Demmer,
  • beef roast – Thomas Simpkins,
  • chicken pack – Wayne Perkins and
  • chicken – Thomas Simpkins.

The R500 snowball was a carry over as Brian Craig was not present. The Friday Lotto was a R320 carry over as no one guessed the correct three numbers drawn. The Joker draw will commence soon.
