JUST IN: Montclair minor knocked over by vehicle

Advanced life support urgently stabilised the boy on scene before he was rushed to hospital

A 10 year old boy has been left critically injured after he was knocked over by a vehicle on Alamein Avenue in Montclair  this afternoon (Friday, 31 May) just after 4pm.

On arrival Rescue Care Paramedics found that the critically injured child had sustained serious injuries.  “Advanced life support urgently stabilised the boy on scene before he was rushed to hospital for the further care that he needed,” said Garrith Jamieson of Rescue Care Paramedics.

At this stage the details leading up to the incident are unknown however police were in attendance and will be investigating the matter further.
