Treats and spoils for lovely ladies

YELLOWWOOD Park (YWP) Sports Club treated some beautiful women to an island-themed ladies brunch on Saturday, 11 May at the club. Upon arrival, the women were treated to refreshing welcome drinks and were seated at a brightly decorated dining hall to mingle before being served brunch.

The day’s activities also included music by DJ Spike, pop-up shops, a prize auction, fun games stand-up comedy and talks by special guests. Local businesswoman and woman’s health enthusiast, Priya Naidoo, presented a talk on the importance of women’s personal health and hygiene. YWP comedian Mangaliso Mhlongo, lightened the mood with his relatable jokes that had all the guests in stitches. Talented psychic Heike Sym, enlightened the women on the power of energies and the work that she does.

YWP Sports Club chairperson and event organiser Nadene Lotz, said that it was a fun day enjoyed by all. “This was the fourth ladies brunch that the club has hosted and it’s always a great initiative to treat the lovely women of our community. All proceeds raised go towards the maintenance of the club, facilities and the field as we are a non-profit organisation. We appreciate all our guests and our sponsors who made the event a great success.”
