Make your mark on election day #IMadeMyMark

All voting stations will be open from 7am to 9pm.

Wednesday, 8 May has been declared a public holiday for all South Africans to head to the polls to vote in the 2019 national and provincial elections.

All voting stations will be open from 7am to 9pm. You can only vote with your ID book or card, or a temporary ID. If you are registered anywhere in the province, you are allowed to vote in both the national and provincial elections. If you are registered outside of the province, you will only receive a national ballot but you are still allowed to vote.

The application for a special vote has closed and those successful will receive a SMS to confirm. If you are listed at the wrong voting station in the SMS, call your ward councillor to rectify the error.

  • Ward 66 (Bluff): JP Prinsloo 083 406 2525
  • Ward 64 (Montclair Yellowwood Park, Woodlands): Gavin Hegter 072 821 1917
