Foods that your dog should not eat
Not all dogs will react the same way to all foods, if you're in doubt, always ask your vet.
We may treat our pets like they’re human, but that doesn’t mean they get to eat “people food.”
Here are a list of potentially harmful foods that you should never feed your dog.
1. Apple seeds and cores
2. Coconut and coconut oil
3. Avocado
4. Grapes and raisins
5. Apricot stems, leaves, and pits
6. Onions and chives
7. Garlic
8. Xylitol
9. Chamomile
10. Salt and salty snack foods
11. Cherry steams, leaves, and pits
12. Macadamia nuts
13. Other nuts, including almonds, walnuts, peanuts, and pecans
14. Mustard seeds
15. Rhubarb
16. Tomato plant
17. Citrus fruits
18. Chocolate
19. Coffee and caffeine
20. Raw eggs
21. Hops
22. Potato leaves, stems, skin, or any green parts
23. Peach stems, leaves, and pits
24. Liquorice
25. Alcohol
26. Marijuana and edibles
27. Yeast dough
Of course, not all dogs will react the same way to all foods. If you’re in doubt, always ask your vet.
