Tee off in aid of Tafta’s Meals on Wheels

Make a note of the date: Thursday, 16 May

THE Association for the Aged will host its annual golf day fundraiser on Thursday, 16 May at Durban Country Club to continue its quest to provide nutritious meals to elders within Tafta homes and surrounding communities through its Meals on Wheels programme.

Companies who have already responded to the call for support include Sanlam Private Wealth, Flo-Line, Gap Capital, Avis, Royal Union Financial Services and Investec.

“We call on other companies and social teams to register today for the event to avoid disappointment, and to have their brands associated with the support of this worthwhile cause. Tafta significantly relies on the revenue made at this event, together with that of our other fundraising events, to ensure the elderly population receive the meals they require to fight off illnesses often associated with ageing,” said Tafta’s Gail Samuels, divisional manager for income development, public relations and marketing.
