Easter fever hits Montclair children

Swimming seems to be a popular Easter activity among the children in Pitta Patta

THE EASTER BUNNY is almost here and the children at Pitta Patta Playschool can’t wait for the friendly bunny, armed with Easter eggs to arrive.

In the meantime, while they wait for Easter, they have begun colouring pictures in of the mystical creature in preparation of his arrival.

Lisakhanya Mkhize will be celebrating a birthday and Easter at her house.

LisaKhanya Mhkize said she is excited because it’s her mummy’s birthday so it’s a double celebration and yummy treats. “I also get to swim at the beach on Easter and eat all the chocolates,” she said excitedly.

Mohammed Kader wants to impress the Easter Bunny with his colouring in.

Mohammed Kader who was concentrating on colouring in the lines said he saw the Easter Bunny once, “He was White and fluffy and had a pink nose,” he said giggling. He also can’t wait to eat the chocolates on Easter.

Andiwsa Madlala said all she wants to do is eat easter eggs, play with her friends and swim at the beach on Easter.

Swimming seems to be a popular Easter activity among the children in Pitta Patta. Andiswa Madlala and Lwandle Mtolo can’t wait to go to the beach or pool to swim over the long weekend. Andiswa said she is going to enjoy playing with her friends and waiting for the Easter Bunny to bring her big chocolates. “I’m going to eat, play and swim!”

Lwandle Mtolo said her favourite thing to do on Easter is swimming.

Bentley Margheriti loves chocolate and said he already saw the chocolates he wants the Easter Bunny to bring for him. “They are big and small Easter eggs and they all so yummy,” he said smiling.
