Make books stand out with recycled covers

These days the simplest  supplies like book covers cost more than a car.

But, don’t fall for the retail prices or give in to what you are expected to buy. Get creative with a mind for recycling.

Brown paper: Use brown paper and buy some stickers. Get your children involved in covering their own books and let them decorate their covers with cheap stickers.

Newsworthy: Find some old paper and wrap the books with it. Cover it with plastic sleeves to prevent it from tearing. It will look vintage and cool.

Rad rags: Have an old shirt? Learn how to tye dye the material and turn it into a book sleeve.
