Step out of your comfort zone and beat the blues

Beat the blues and motivate yourself with these steps to help you get out of bed.

It is getting really hard to leave the warmth and comfort of your bed, some days you feel like is it even worth it to get up and go to work – to talk to the same people and do the same work you do every day.

But you know what? It has to be done. Although you are tired and miserable, you have to get out of bed ( your comfort zone) and face the world. But how? you ask. Easy!

  1. Before  you go to bed drinks lots of water: So at some point in the morning your bladder will become your alarm clock and wake you up for a loo visit.

2.Set your alarm clock to play your favourite music: What better way to wake up than to your favourite song or sound. If you are not a music person maybe the sound of birds or crashing waves will get you up and make your feel inspired.

Stretch and think: Before you get out of bed, lay back for about 5 minutes or stretch. Think about how lucky you are to be able to open your eyes. It’s a new day and there are new adventures, so imagine the goals you want to achieve today.

 Exercise in the morning: Wake up your endorphins and get them old bones cracking with a bit of light workout in the morning.

 

Do something fun in the morning: Take your dog for a run or read a book. Do something you enjoy that will get your mind working and your body moving.

Turn these steps into a routine and you are sure to wake up ready to conquer your day.
