Austerville clinic to host male circumcision campaign

AUSTERVILLE primary healthcare clinic will hold a medical male circumcision campaign on Saturday, 16 March.
The circumcisions are for all males from 10 years and older.
Male circumcision involves the removal of the foreskin from the penis.

It is performed to improve hygiene, reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases, reduces the risk of HIV and lowers the risk of penile cancer and cervical cancer. Those aged under 18 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians with their ID books and birth certificates
