Choose happiness on Monday

You may wake up sad and miserable but it's up to you on how you choose to end the day. Stay positive.

IT’S Monday today, a new week, a day to make a decision, and to take control of your life. It’s also a day before Christmas, many people are depressed this time of the year because of loss, heart break or debt. But you can make a difference in yours and their lives with these steps.

Make today about positive decisions, even if it’s something small, like the decision to go to the gym or say hello to the cashier at the shop. Use this day to improve your life or the life of others through radiating positive vibes and warmth with those around you. You never know how you might make their day better.


Share a funny story or a joke: In these times of sad and horrible news it’s refreshing to hear a cute story, a funny joke or even a video. Find one and share it with your friends and colleagues.

 

 

Write an original inspirational message: On social media share, something that you and others can relate to. You may not know it, but even a stranger can find strength in your words.Listen: Sometimes all we need to do is listen. There are some great stories and some sad ones and all a person needs is someone to actually listen. Maybe you can help them or make their day by telling them “that’s a great story!”. Be a conversationalist and open your ears to the world.

Make someone smile: It’s not that hard!! Smiling and laughing are some of the most contagious human expressions. All you have to do is compliment a person and tell them they are awesome! It is guaranteed to make the day of whoever you come in contact with.
