Tragedy struck in Montclair on Sunday morning, 13 January when a four-year-old child was crushed by a garage door.
Netcare’s Shawn Herbst said the child was assessed by an advanced life support paramedic who found no signs of life and was declared deceased at the scene.
The circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the police, who responded to the scene.
