Tickets to the luncheon will only be issued on Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 December at Grosvenor library

PENSIONER residents of ward 66 are urged to sign up to attend the city’s annual senior citizens luncheon.

This year’s luncheon takes place at Bluff Boxing Club on the corner of Tara and Bideford/Zinto Cele roads on Wednesday, 12 December from 9am.

Tickets to the luncheon will only be issued on Monday and Tuesday, 10 and 11 December at Grosvenor library, 3 Wesley Road, Bluff between 9am and noon. Only limited tickets are available for the luncheon and these will be issued on a first come first served basis.

In order to attend this annual event, senior citizens must be 60 years and older and be a resident of ward 66. They must take along their ID documents or driver’s license and proof of residence when collecting their tickets. Only seniors citizens residing within ward 66 will receive a ticket to the event. If you do not have a proof of residence, you will need to collect one from the ward councillor’s office at 49 Old Mission Road, Bluff Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 2.30pm.

The city hosts this event every year and much effort goes into improving on and making it more special than the year before. “This year we have partnered with various businesses and organisations to make sure the event is something our most deserving residents will not forget,” said ward 66 councillor JP Prinsloo.
