There are natural ways to restore your roots and get a lovely shine. Buying hair masks are expensive but with these simple natural recipes, not only will you be saving your hair but also your money.

Avocado hair mask 

According to naturalbeautytips.co take 1 ripe avocado (pitted and scooped out), 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and couple of drops of lavender essential oil (optional).

Mash the avocado until it forms a smooth paste without any lumps. Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and blend them all together, until the mixture forms a smooth paste of uniform consistency.

Dampen your hair with water, and apply the mask to your hair, paying extra attention to the ends. Massage the mixture in a little. Clip your hair onto the top of your head, and then cover with a shower cap. Allow the mixture to sit for about 40-45 minutes.

Remove the shower cap, rinse your hair thoroughly as many times as required to remove the mask entirely, and then wash and condition your hair as usual.

Hair mask for damaged hair

1 Egg yolk

2 Tbsp. Coconut oil

1 Tbsp. Honey

As a Buzzfeed  reporters Candace Lowry and Jody Tixier wrote, this is a double recipe for long hair.

Combine ingredients in a blender or whisk ingredients together until well-blended. Apply the mask evenly through damp hair, making sure to cover damaged ends. If you have long hair, tie it up. Then, cover hair with a shower cap or towel and let the mask sit for 30 minutes. Wash out the mask with shampoo and conditioner. For best results, apply the mask once weekly.
