It’s that time of the year when your mango tree is brimming with beautiful crunchy green mangoes. It’s nostalgic for us old folk who remember climbing the trees as kids and knocking them down for our friends to catch.

We ate them with a chilli powder paste or give it your our mums to make a pickle. It was a good time.

Mangoes also known as king of the fruits is said to have as much Vitamin C as 35 apples, 18 bananas, nine lemons and three oranges.
