Wentworth police search for fatal hit and run victim’s family

The following day he succumbed to his injuries.

WENTWORTH police are searching for the family of a 35-year-old man who was killed in a hit-and-run while crossing the M4 freeway, before the Jacobs on-ramp, on Friday, 31 August.

The black man was found by a motorist who stopped to help him in the northbound carriageway.
The man had sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Wentworth Hospital. The following day he succumbed to his injuries.

The man is described as fair in complexion with a beard and moustache.
If any family is missing a relative who fits his description, they are urged to contact Detective Warrant Officer Thompson on 031-451-6241.
