VIDEO: Indulge in healthy blueberry scones

These scones can be prepared in 30 minutes and are perfect for this weather.

This wet and rainy weekend weather is perfect to stay indoors and bake. Instead of indulging in unhealthy baked goodies, we should try  a healthy and nutritious snack.

Blueberry scones are the  way to go if you want to keep your family healthy and hooked on your baking. This recipe provided by health blogger Amy is a quick and easy way to eat healthy.

  •  ½ cups (180g) white whole wheat flour or gluten-free* flour (measured like this)
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon (28g) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ½ cup (120g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoon(45mL) pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoon+ 2 teaspoon (55mL) nonfat milk, divided
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (80g) fresh blueberries
