Bluff councillor urges co-operation for Stats SA survey

Residents are asked to assist the survey officers by providing them with accurate information.

WARD 66 councillor, JP Prinsloo urges Bluff resident to co-operate with the Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) survey officers who will be visiting household to conduct interviews and complete the survey questionnaire.
Residents are asked to assist the survey officers by providing them with accurate information.

The officials will have an identity card to show on request

All the information provided by respondents is kept confidential and will not be passed onto any individual or organisation for any purpose, as Stats SA is only interested in aggregates, not individual responses.
Respondents can be assured of the survey officer’s authenticity by requesting identification. “Survey officers can easily be identified by their official identity cards with Statistics South Africa’s logo printed on them. They are using Stats SA branded vehicles,” said Councillor Prinsloo.
Stats SA conducts household surveys such as the quarterly labour force survey (QLFS), domestic tourism survey (DTS), general household survey (GHS), and governance, public safety, and justice survey (GPSJS).
