Call to pre-register for annual whale festival event

Fun will be in store for people of all ages

THE ‘Welcoming of the Whales’ festival is this weekend so change all your plans and head off to Brighton Beach this Saturday.

 

Saturday, 30 June will mark the day of festivities when a number of activities will be available for those who attend the festival at Brighton Beach.
Fun will be in store for people of all ages from whale spotting, markets, children’s activities, beach walks and so much more.

Admission is free to the public.

Destiny the Whale is one of the main attractions at the festival

Pre-registration for the treasure hunt which takes place at the festival is now open for those aged between three and seven-years-old.
Registration is also available on the day from 8am to 9am. The treasure hunt will take place at the end of Brighton Beach from 10am to noon. Email Jane at jane@sodurba.co.za for more details.
Pre-registation is also open for the Welcoming of the Whales rocky walk. All ages are welcome to join in. Take along suncreen, a hat and glasses.
